Do you ever feel like you are spinning all of the plates?

The plates keep almost topping, they are spinning and wobbling and teetering but you just manage to hold on. Just. And then a new plate gets added to the circus and the only thing you can do is keep spinning and hope at some point it settles down?

My to-do list is ever growing and I never seem to be able to get on top of it. I have this antsy anxiety feeling like angry butterflies in the bottom of my stomach, because we want to change our lives and being a bit of an impatient person, I want it now.

But a lot of it is purely down to time and saving.

We can work on the savings. We can work on the planning (tbh this might be one of the things keeping me motivated). And in some aspects we can alter the timeframe ever so slightly, but there are things that we do need to wait for.

And I am not good at waiting..

Perhaps I’m just being a bit like Veruca Salt with “I want it now!. It just always feels 2 steps forward 3 steps back at times. I would rather just get it over and done with than hanging about where there is more risk of just sitting on an idea than making it a reality.

The weather isn’t helping matters much either. Where was Spring? Has it come and gone already? I thought we were still in Winter as I’ve not long stuck the heating on.

Cold, grey and miserable. No wonder it affects my mood.

Or maybe I’m still stuck on Willy Wonka’s boat of madness..

I think the only thing for it is to stick on my “Get Shit Done” playlist and crack on! It won’t get done otherwise and then we really won’t be going anywhere.

Take the imperfect action and don’t aim for perfection, aim for progress.
